I LOVE TO LEARN
"Science is always moving skincare forward and making products more effective. I want to always know what works best."
I still see clients on a daily basis, so I have to know what is effective. This day-to-day interaction lets me see the results people are getting. It always keeps me on my toes and wanting to learn more.
READ THE LABELS
WHAT I LOOK FOR
Like a label on a can of soup, ingredients are listed in order from the greatest amount to the least. So I always look to see that it's got some good stuff, like peptides, as a primary ingredient.
Denat or denatured alcohol isn't great for skin so I try to avoid it where possible. It can cause dryness.
No Essential Oils or Fragrances
These are nice to have in candles but they don't belong in skincare. In some cases, the oils can make you red or photosensitive.
